Note: Young soldier Harold Dogville was a recent boy recruit to the British army garrison in Fermoy, where he was a member of the Royal East Kent Regiment (The Buffs). He died by misadventure as the result of accidental drowning. In civilian life Degville had been a tailor by trade.
