Join Archaeologist Damien Shiels at the Midleton Public Library for a workshop as part of the Landscapes of Revolution Project.
The workshop is the second local event to emerge from the project. Shiels writes,
“As the project gathers steam we have set a date for our first workshop, to take place in Midleton Public Library at 2pm on Saturday 17th December.”
The workshop will last in the region of 1-2 hours, and aims to show volunteers how to utilise online resources to uncover information about sites associated with the War of Independence in the area, as well as how we intend to record them. At the conclusion of the workshop there will be a walking tour of the Midleton Ambush.
