A newly published heritage education pack will provide a flavour of what life in county Donegal was like in 1916, showing the direct effects of national and international events (such as the Easter Rising, the First World War, the Battle of the Somme and the Battle of Jutland).

Published by the Donegal County Archives, Donegal County Museum, County Donegal Heritage Office and the Donegal County Library Service the booklet is
entitled ‘County Donegal in 1916; From The Edge’.
The pack is aimed at upper primary/lower secondary school students, teachers and a general audience.
The Irish language version will be available shortly.
