The publication of the ground-breaking Atlas of the Irish Revolution was accompanied in 2017 by the release of an 8-unit, teaching and learning resource pack. Over 500 teachers in Ireland and abroad have registered to download the lesson plans, document packs and student worksheets.
Posters, images and maps bring colour and vibrancy to the subject, as well as offering new perspectives on the social, cultural and political history of the Irish revolutionary period.
It was the intention of the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Studies, University College Cork that this teaching resource would be a living document, in that teachers were invited to submit recommendations for improvements and additions.
The edited and improved second edition of the resource pack is now available to download for free. Click here to register.
UCC has also announced that the student worksheets will be available in Irish from January 2020.
